hexchat is an Internet Relay Chat client.Its availsble in windows and linux. It supports scriptability, multiple language support, multiple network, auto-connect, proxy support, SASL, DCC. Its open source but discontinued 10 feb 2024.

utorrent is a torrent client. Its easy light and low on resources. There are diffrent versions available from free to paid
